VENDICARI, UN OASI MAGICA DA SCOPRIRE

The nature reserve oriented "Oasis Faunistica di Vendicari" was established in 1984 by the Sicilian Region. It is located precisely between Noto and Pachino (province of Syracuse) with a territory that covers about 1512 hectares. Inside the reserve, an entire ecosystem lives undisturbed. Frequently you will find yourself in front of breathtaking landscapes, thick vegetation that suddenly opens up to a crystalline sea, to very long and golden beaches, that in a few hundred meters become rocks overhanging a deep sea. From the observation huts you can admire Flamingos, Herons, Storks that stop here before reaching the final migratory destinations. Snorkeling, hiking, miles of beaches and pristine sea ... La riserva naturale orientata “Oasi Faunistica di Vendicari” è stata istituita nel 1984 dalla Regione Siciliana. Si trova precisamente tra Noto e Pachino (provincia di Siracusa) con un territorio che si estende per circa 1512 ettari.

All’interno della riserva, vive indisturbato un intero ecosistema. Frequentemente vi ritroverete davanti a paesaggi mozzafiato, vegetazione fitta che si apre improvvisamente a un mare cristallino, a spiagge lunghissime e dorate, che in poche centinaia di metri diventano rocce a strapiombo su un mare profondo.

Dai capanni di osservazione potrete ammirare Fenicotteri, Aironi, Cicogne che sostano qui prima di raggiungere le mete migratorie definitive.
